Landroids show that static can cause Mindstorms NXT to lock up. The Landroids identify 3 reasons for the static build-up.
- Low humidity
- Mats on carpet (As they were at Super-Regionals)
- Omni-wheels buffing (In all but one match, 6024 locked up after making contact with a robot that had omni-wheels. See ” Team# 6024 Observation” below)
